The Career of Carl Yastrzemski

On Carl Yastrzemski Day, August 6, 1989, the Boston Red Sox officially retired Number 8.  To honor the event, they commissioned Ray Ward to create this Assemblage for their distinguished Hall of Famer.  Fans got their own piece of Carl's glory that day in their own commemorative folder of the art.
